Tonight I was the only lurker on the streets. It was quite disappointing, as I was hoping to run into some unacquainted faces. But none were to be found. Nope not one, tonight they have all gone inside to dance on brightly coloured floors, to sit by a familiar face and watch movies, or to catch up on the sleep stolen from them this week. Ah, but I was out tonight, wandering aimlessly, sitting under dimmed streetlights, and chasing cats. Oh, and I was followed by a drunk couple. Though thoroughly enjoying this night by myself, I almost wish someone was with me, even if they were lurking in the shadows.
